At the end of the battle, Sophie was surprised that Avel followed her directions in battle, which Silas attributed to her more confident attitude. After meeting her father on the battlefield, Sophie plays off that her presence is merely because she heard the shouts of help through the portal to her Deeprealm. As luck would have it, Silas and the army he was traveling with happened to be in the area to stop that same bandit gang. Wanting to help the boy out, as well as hopefully impressing her father, Sophie leaps into action, but Avel proves to be troublesome once more.
Just as she was about to return back to her Deeprealm, she catches local bandits harassing a village boy. Giving chase, Sophie winds up back in the normal world and manages to regain control of Avel. In her Paralogue, Sophie is once again trying to practice riding Avel, but he continues to be stubborn with her, bucking her off and running away towards the portal out of her Deeprealm world. A fledgling knight, she has yet to tame Avel as he tends to run wild and against her commands.

There was a lovely ring on Effie’s finger. “The lovely Effie and I are engaged!” Arthur exclaimed, holding up their intertwined hands. “Wh-what is it, Arthur?” she said, trying to look surprised. “It’s about tim-I mean-“ Elise coughed to cover up her initial outburst. Elise couldn’t help but giggle at her retainers bashfulness after all the times Effie had denied she would ever be with Arthur. “You’ll never believe it!” Effie, though continuing to hold his hand, looked off to the side. Which was why it was no surprise when the two eventually came up to her one day, hand in hand. The young girl always sort of suspected though that even if Effie didn’t necessarily have feelings for Arthur now, the time would eventually come. Elise would ask Effie if she felt anything towards Arthur, though the woman was always more than ready to deny the princesses thoughts and state her devotion to Elise. The late nights of girl talk came and went. But no mater how hard the world struck, Arthur always pulled through successfully and with a smile on his face. Though at first she assumed he was some stupid klutz, she quickly realized perhaps the world was out of get him. There were few men outside of royalty with Effie showed any sort of respect for, and Arthur quickly became one of the few. Elise knew she could trust Arthur to perform any duty even though everything that could possibly go wrong would go wrong. The man was something else, that was to be sure. Later on down the road, the heroic but cripplingly unlucky Arthur joined their forces as a retainer. Effie claimed she was so committed to her princess that she would never need to find a man. They would talk about love and people that they liked… or at least Elise did. When she was young she would stay up late into the night with her retainer, Effie. Camilla always told her that she was adorable and would have no trouble finding a man.
When she was young she would constantly find herself daydreaming of what it would be like to be swept off her feet by a prince in shining armor. Marriage was such a strange yet magical concept to Elise.
